"... strike me as all puppets, blind embodiments of the forces of nature, never achieving the liberation that comes to man when he ceases to desire and learns at last to contemplate. Only in thought is man a God; in action and desire we are the slaves of circumstance." - Bertrand Russell

Dear Ace, perhaps you can start by typing with proper capital letters to make yourself more legible. Calling other people assholes just because they don't see the world the way you see it just mere points to one fact, which I hope you can see it eventually. Do enjoy your life, and there is beauty in the world.

I am not a genius by most standards but even I can see an inverse relationship between the two in the real advanced minds. now im not referring to the assholes who live in rich white suburbia and got a 36 on there act's because their daddy bought them a tutor. I am talking about the rare true advanced minds that teach themselves and have amazing conceptual skills and pattern recognition. the same people who overdose or blow their complicated brains onto the wall with their own pistol. these are the minds that have seen the true depression of human futility. being as my mind isnt as advanced as theirs ive only seen part of it. it was still depressing enough to inspire to blog on web page that is more than likely frequinted by children or the very same fake assholes who claim to understand what im trying to say but probably dont.

Actually I've just realised you could classify each of these drives as coming from either the ego, superego or id. Damn you, Freud!

I forget to ask Hean, what degree are you taking now?

As for the order of love, knowledge, and empathy, I think it probably fluctuates by time. I notice my 'spiritual' (cheesy as it sounds) desires depend mostly on what I feel I lack at any one time.I used to value knowledge above the others, then for a while it was empathy, and now I am drawn towards love. Who knows whether I shall persist in searching for the latter, or change my priorities again?

Thank you for your support. I have decided to take a subject called Optimisation for Industry, which has more of a mathematical approach to problems, and transport examples are commonly used.

Thanks for pointing out the typo.

You sound like a positive youth. Take up Transport System, and I *hope* the government does make use of your to-be-acquired skills. Typo: post-graduate.

Thats true man, you are completely right, I got my hohner like 2 weeks ago and I was happy playing until today after playing some tabs (yes I am a begginer :P) the 5th draw started to sound like if the harmonica was inside a metal bucket, I started to google, and to take apart my harmonica to see the problem, and to try whatever I could do to revive it, but it seemed pretty impossible, I even put some super glue on the reed :P (I was that desperate), At least now I know this problem is pretty common, I guess next time I will get a better harmonica, and spare parts for it. what brand do you recommend besides Seydel when it comes to parts but also good quality.

thanks

Haha! Not bleak, just considering things in a more realisitic timescale - after all we only do get to see a tiny fraction of history playing itself out. In a cosmic sense, we aren't insignificant, but we are mostly in for the ride rather than directing the flow. We can only do what we can and pray that's enough.
